Summer Camps with Guaranteed Internship at University of Sharjah

The Street Smart Summer Camp, also known as Urban Explorers, is an action-packed 8-day program in Dubai for children and teens aged 10-18. Running from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday, for two weeks, the camp is designed to empower participants with essential life skills, building confidence, independence, and street smarts through real-world experiences. The program's core goals include enhancing teamwork, teaching personal safety, introducing budgeting and decision-making, cultivating emotional regulation, and fostering tech awareness. All activities occur in real locations and are fully supervised to ensure safety at all times.

The first week focuses on foundational skills. It kicks off with team-building exercises and an Escape Room Challenge on Day 1. On Day 2, campers learn about personal safety and situational awareness through an "Urban Explorer Challenge" in a mall and a basic self-defense workshop. Day 3 centers on decision-making with a "Stranded Survival Marketplace Challenge," complemented by an emotional regulation workshop. The week ends with a surprise challenge focused on teamwork and collaboration.

Week two applies and expands upon these skills. Day 5 introduces modern AI tools and online safety with a role-play court to assess cyber-crime scenarios. Day 6 is "Global Explorers Day," featuring map reading and a surprise challenge to foster cultural curiosity. Day 7 is an adventure trip to an ice rink for a real-world application of their new skills, including an "Observation Bingo" game. The camp culminates on Day 8 with a graduation ceremony, a "Street Smart Quiz," a financial literacy workshop, and creative reflection skits to celebrate accomplishments.
