Summer Camps with Guaranteed Internship at University of Sharjah

The two-week AI & Coding Summer Camp is designed with hands-on sessions held Monday through Thursday for two hours each day.

The first week, "Discover Your AI Sidekick," introduces fundamental concepts. On Day 1, participants train their first AI model using Google Teachable Machine to recognize objects and create a prediction game. Day 2 focuses on connecting AI to physical outputs like lights and sounds to build an interactive reaction game. By Day 3, students train a facial expression detector to create a digital "mood mirror" and a "compliment bot". The week concludes on Day 4 with building a voice-command system to design a chatty, interactive sidekick.

Week two, "Advanced AI Integration," delves into more complex projects. Days 5 and 6 are dedicated to building a Smart Sidekick Bot by combining voice and gesture models and integrating components like motors, LEDs, and speakers. On Day 7, students explore Pictoblox, a new platform for creating visual AI experiences like object tracking and smile counters. The camp culminates on Day 8 with an "AI Playground" showcase, where students test and remix their creations, collaborate with peers, and receive fun awards like "Silliest Bot" and "Most Polite Bot" in a final celebration.

Throughout the camp, students gain knowledge in training AI models for images, voice, and emotions. They acquire block-based programming skills, experience in creative robot design, and learn to problem-solve with peers—ultimately building confidence by completing a showcase-worthy project.
